DRUŽBA IN COVID-19: TRENDI IN IZZIVI

Povzetek

Epidemija covida-19 zaradi svojega obsega in trajanja še naprej vpliva na številna področja življenja posameznikov, hkrati pa spreminja ureditev družbe. Na eni strani k spremembam v družbi prispevajo akumulirane spremembe na individualni ravni, kot so večje obremenitve, stres, osamljenost in čustvena otopelost. Te lahko vodijo v kolektivno travmo in povečanje števila posameznikov z duševnimi težavami, na drugi strani pa se zaradi epidemije spreminjajo procesi, ki presegajo posamezne člane družbe (na primer okrepitev lokalnih gospodarstev, delo na daljavo in pospešena digitalizacija). V članku predstavljam izzive, s katerimi se kot družba ukvarjamo med epidemijo in se bomo spoprijemali v prihodnosti. Na podlagi ugotovitev slovenskih in tujih študij ter teoretskih razprav pojasnim kolektivno duševno zdravje, spremembe v družbenih odnosih, družbenem vedenju in obveščanju ter vse večjo polarizacijo in predstavim, kako šolanje ter delo na daljavo prispevata k spremembam v družbi. Čeprav gre v večini predstavljenih sprememb za obstoječe trende, ki jih je izbruh epidemije le pospešil, pokoronska družba prinaša nove izzive, k reševanju katerih lahko dejavno prispevamo tudi psihologi in drugi strokovnjaki za duševno zdravje.
