PODNEBNE RAZMERE V SVETU LETA 2011
Povzetek
Leto 2011 na svetovni ravni ni bilo med najtoplejšimi v zadnjem obdobju, zato pa na kopnem drugo najbolj namočeno. Številne države so prizadele uničujoče poplave, med temi so bile najhujše jesenske poplave na Tajskem. Vzhod Afrike, Mehiko in jug Združenih držav Amerike je pestila dolgotrajna suša, ki se ji je v ZDA poleti pridružila še neznosna vročina. Med temperaturnimi ekstremi so ponovno prevladovale visoke temperature, kar je skladno z opaženim trendom izjemnih podnebnih in vremenskih dogodkov v preteklih desetletjih.
