RIVER AND LAKE TEMPERATURES IN 2021
Abstract
The average river temperature at the 36 selected gauging stations was 10.8°C in 2021, which is 0.4°C higher than the 30-year average (1991-2020). The mean periodic temperature of the rivers at the selected stations was 10.4°C. The temperature of Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj in 2021 was also only slightly higher than the 30-year period. Lake Bled had a mean annual temperature of 0.2°C higher, and Lake Bohinj 0.4°C higher. The mean temperature of Lake Bled over the period 1991-2020 was 13.4°C, and that of Lake Bohinj was 10.4°C.
