INTERNATIONAL TRAINING OF CAVE RESCUERS – CRT 2021 SEŽANA
Abstract
The Cave Rescue Service (JRS) is raising the level of skills with an international training programme for cave rescuers in the wider Balkans. A great deal of planning and effort has gone into the international programme, and the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief has always been there to help. The Cave Rescue Service and its rescuers have shown that, with such support, they can carry out the programme with even greater enthusiasm and success. The programme of International Training of Cave Rescuers or Cave Rescue Training (CRT), as it is called by the Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Initiative for South-Eastern Europe (DPPI SEE), has been carried out for the tenth time. The first one was organized in Montenegro in 2009 and the most recent one was held in Sežana last year.
