PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT WITHIN THE SYSTEM OF PROTECTION AGAINST NATURAL AND OTHER DISASTERS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Abstract
Between March 2020 and April 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic, various changes were introduced to our lives and our work. During the epidemic, those working in the system of protection against natural and other disasters may have felt more stress and strain which affected their mental well-being, behaviour and decision-making. They were offered psychological support and assistance provided by the psychologists of the Civil Protection Psychological Support Units and confidants within the system of protection against natural and other disasters. This paper presents their activities during the pandemic.
