OVERVIEW OF INTERVENTIONS OF MOUNTAIN RESCUE ASSOCIATION OF SLOVENIA IN THE PERIOD 2009-2018

Abstract

The number of visitors and the variety of free-time activities in the Slovenian mountains is increasing. This is reflected in a larger number of interventions of the Mountain Rescue Association of Slovenia. A well-managed intervention database has been used to assess key intervention characteristics during the period 2009-2018. The assessment of the current situation can be used for future planning and improvement of the mountain rescue service.
