Abstract

WM-1seismoscope is a relatively simple instrument for recording ground motion during strong earthquakes, which was at the end of the fifties developed and also widely used in the United States and, also on Slovenian territory in the seventies and eighties of the last century. For the purposes of the project, which would allow recording of strong earthquakes on the territory of the former Yugoslavia, the seismoscope was manufactured in Slovenia in the early seventies based on slightly modified USA plans, 148 seismoscopes were produced and 16 of them were installed in Slovenia.
