THE 20 NATIONAL FIRST AID COMPETITION OF THE CIVIL PROTECTION AND RED CROSS FIRST AID TEAMS

Abstract

The first aid teams, which were ranked among the best during the 2014 regional first aid competition of the Civil Protection and Red Cross first aid teams, participated in the 20th national first aid competition. The twelve regional first aid competitions were organised on the basis of a tender. The branches of the Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief in Nova Gorica and Koper organised the regional first aid competition jointly, as an established practice in the last years. The branches in Celje and Trbovlje followed suit. All of the 125 first aid teams, which took part in the competition, operate in accordance with the Regulation on the Organization, Equipping and Training of Protection, Rescue and Relief Forces. Fourteen first aid teams, seven of which were Red Cross teams, four Civil Protection and three fire fighting teams, competed at the national first aid competition in Koper.
