COOPERATION WITH SERBIA IN THE FIELD OF PROTECTION AGAINST NATURAL AND OTHER DISASTERS

Abstract

Cooperation of Slovenia and Serbia in the field of protection against natural and other disasters is held on bilateral level and in the framework of regional initiatives. Slovenia is supporting Serbia in its integration into the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, and both countries are also mutually providing assistance in case of largescale disasters. Good cooperation has strengthened especially in recent years and was formalised in the year 2015 with the signature of bilateral agreement on cooperation against natural and other disasters.
