SMS112, TEXT EMERGENCY CALL TO 112

Abstract

Text emergency call SMS112 is a new service of emergency calls on the 112 number. Like WAP112, SMS112 is primarily intended for deaf and hard of hearing people. We have developed a uniform infrastructure, which will include the rest of emergency call services to the number 112. The infrastructure is in accordance with the developing 3GPP Technical Report TR 22,871.
