EXERCISE “NEURJE 2010”

Abstract

In order to examine the level of preparedness for dealing with consequences of major storms with wind and hail, the municipality of Slovenj Gradec and the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief, with the help of other ministries, bodies and organisations, have agreed to organize the exercise “Neurje 2010” to examine the readiness of protection, rescue and relief forces. The one-day combined exercise was planned in advance, and it took place on Saturday, 19 June from 11.00 to 12.25. It included 260 protection, rescue and relief force members as well as other participants.
