PARTICIPATION OF THE CAVE RESCUE SERVICE OF SLOVENIA IN INTERNATIONAL TRAININGS IN 2010
Abstract
According to the annual plan of work for year 2010, Cave Rescue Service of Slovenia (JRS) was present at several international meetings in the sphere of speleology and cave rescue. Somehow the most important operations were represented by the International Cave Rescue Training techniques in France and the International Cave Rescue Training in Macedonia. The overall aim of both meetings was the transfer of knowledge in cave rescue techniques and strengthening of international relations among the present speleologists. An important difference between those two courses is that in Macedonia members of JRS worked as organizers and instructors of the CRT (Cave Rescue Training) course, whereas in France they participated as trainees in the world-famous French cave rescue services (Speleo FRANCAIS SECOURS-SSF), which works under the auspices of the French Cave Federation (Fédération Française de Spéléologie-PPP).
