THE POSSIBILITIES OF OBTAINING EUROPEAN UNION FUNDS FOR (CO-)FINANCING ACTIVITIES IN THE SYSTEM OF PROTECTION AGAINST NATURAL AND OTHER DISASTERS
Abstract
Through its funds, programmes, and calls for tenders or proposals, the European Union provides grants for projects and activities in line with its strategic guidelines. In the field of civil protection, funding is available for quality projects that value not only Slovenia, but the European Union in general. The Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief (ACPDR) has participated in a number of such projects.
