Abstract

Earthquake activity in Slovenia was low in 2006. The inhabitants felt more than 36 earthquakes. The most powerful earthquake was on 15 January at 2.41 UTC or 3.41 Central European time, with a hypocentre in the vicinity of Mozirje. Its local magnitude was 3.0 (ARSO, 2006-2007), and the highest intensity V EMS-98.
