CALLING THE 112 EMERGENCY NUMBER FOR DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING PEOPLE
Abstract
This article describes the possibility and prospects of the use of the emergency number 112 by the deaf and hard of hearing. The suggested technical solutions consider the capacities of technology and the existing services of telecommunication networks. The directions of necessary changes and amendments to legislation are also indicated. This year we are celebrating ten years since the introduction of the 112 emergency telephone number in Slovenia.
