Abstract

Results of recent analyses of a time series of hydrological extremes of some Slovenian rivers carried out by Global Runoff Data Centre (GRDC) in Koblenz, Germany show a falling trend of maximum discharge only for the Krka River at Podbočje. Both mean high water floods and extreme flood events are less frequent and pronounced at this gauging station run by the Environmental Agency of the Republic of Slovenia. The trend of low discharges at the same station is not statistically significant.
