FIRE SAFETY – TRAINING IN PRACTICE
Abstract
Training staff in fire safety is specified in the Protection against Fire Act, on the basis of which an employer must ensure that everyone who is regularly, temporarily or occasionally employed by them is trained in fire safety at the time of starting employment, on being moved to another workplace, at the time of changes in or introduction of new working equipment, and changes in or the introduction of new technology. Partial results of empirical research in the sphere of training employees in fire safety as carried out in practice are presented in the article, after a prior examination of the normative bases which directly or indirectly regulate fire safety training.
