WIND IN SLOVENIA IN 2005

Abstract

Wind at ten measuring stations in 2005 is compared with the ten-year period 1995–2004. Wind was below average in Slovenia in 2005. At lowland stations, except in Primorska, five months had below average wind, and four months were below average in Primorska. In the last eleven years, a trend has been observed of a fall in the average annual speed at half of the selected measuring stations.
