Abstract

On Thursday, 13.10.2005 a one-day national combined terrain and practical exercise Train-2005 took place on the territory of the Eastern Štajerska region. The exercise was organised by the Administration RS for Protection and Rescue, of the Ministry of Defence, and its Maribor Unit, the Firefighting Association of Slovenia, Slovene Railways Holding, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, Urban Municipality of Maribor, Maribor General Hospital and Maribor Health Centre. The aims specified for the exercise were achieved. The exercise also showed up some deficiencies that will have to be rectified.
