NATO Civil Protection Committee Meeting and Seminar

Abstract

The NATO Civil Protection Committee held a meeting and seminar in Baku, the capital of the Caucasian state Azerbaijan, from 8 to 11 September 2003. About 80 representatives from 23 NATO countries, Partnership for Peace countries and Mediterranean Dialog countries participated at the event. The title of this year’s seminar was Civil Preparedness for CBR Scenarios and its Impact on Regional Confidence Building; this topic was also one of the key issues discussed at the meeting.
