DRINKING WATER SUPPLY IN KAMNIK DURING THE AUGUST 2023 FLOODS

Abstract

On Friday, 4 August 2023, when Slovenia was hit by catastrophic floods and when the torrential water in Kamnik tore out parts of the main transport pipelines, among other things, the local public utility company Komunalno podjetje Kamnik d.o.o., with all available teams and civil protection, firefighters and other contract companies, worked for days and nights to ensure that water was available to all users within the shortest time possible.
