Abstract

The Slovenian Environment Agency (ARSO) has been participating in the establishment of the pan-European ShakeMap-EU service since 2024. This service is aimed at the automatic and unified mapping of earthquake effects following moderate and strong earthquakes in Europe and the Mediterranean region. By contributing input data, local models, and relationships for the Slovenian territory, ARSO is improving the accuracy of mapping, updating its procedures following European guidelines, and contributing to the future development of this field with its expertise. ShakeMap-EU products are accessible through the web portal https://shakemapeu.ingv.it/.
