FIREFIGHTING UNITS OF WIDER IMPORTANCE HAVE RECEIVED NEW CBRN PROTECTION EQUIPMENT

Abstract

Nowadays, the possibility for the use of the weapons of mass destruction, the amount of transported dangerous substances, and the number of fires in hazardous waste warehouses is increasing. As Slovenia is no exception to this trend, the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief (ACPDR) is highly content to have managed to additionally equip and train 44 firefighting units of wider importance for operation in conditions of increased radiological, chemical and biological hazard.
