PROTECTION AND DISASTER RELIEF DAYS IN NOVO MESTO

Abstract

In Novo mesto, October 2009, the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief (ACPDR) and the Novo mesto municipality, organized the 3rd Protection and disaster relief days. With this event, ACPDR aimed at increasing awareness among the population of Novo mesto, the Dolenjska, Bela Krajina and Posavje regions, and people from other parts of Slovenia about the importance of maximizing their efforts for their own security, the security of their property and how the state can also assist them through its system of protection against natural and other disasters.
