Abstract

This article describing the aid of Caritas Slovenia to the inhabitants of the storm-stricken and flooded areas last September consists of two parts. In the first part the humanitarian organisation Caritas is presented: its primary mission, organisation and activity, help to the fellow man in distress. The second part describes the actual humanitarian work of all Caritas staff and volunteers on the national, diocesan and parish level after last September’s floods.
