INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR REPORTING INTERVENTIONS AND ACCIDENTS

Abstract

In view of the constant development of information systems, we have introduced a programme at the Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief for collecting data on natural and other disasters and on interventions by protection, rescue and relief forces. The application is the result of the cooperation of people from a number of fields within the system, which enables us to collect more exact data and thus improve its statistical processing, on the basis of which we will more precisely plan the system of civil protection and disaster relief. We wish to create a complete system, which will quickly respond to real life events and give us the earliest possible warning of weaknesses and deficiencies of its operation.
