REPORT ON THE DBAM WORKSHOP

Abstract

On 19-20th September, 2000 a DBAM Workshop was organized in Slovenia within the scope of the AEPWS project entitled »Strengthening the Sustainability of Water Quality Management in the Danube Basin«. The participants of the workshop were from Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary. The primary goal of the two-day workshop was to assess the suitability of the new DBAM model for operational purposes. The participants also devoted their attention to the exchange of practical experiences in the functioning of the AEPWS system and information on response procedures in cases of major pollution of rivers in individual countries, as well as the presentation of prevailing hydrological conditions in individual countries.
